Eluru District Collector K. Vetriselvi and Superintendent of Police K. Pratap Shiva Kishore reviewed the arrangements for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s tour at Gollagudem village in Unguturu mandal of Eluru district on December 1.
Chief Minister’s programme coordinator Pendurthi Venkateswara Rao and Unguturu MLA Patsamatla Dharmaraju briefed the schedule to the Collector and the SP.
Mr. Naidu will disburse NTR Bharosa pensions to beneficiaries, address a public meeting and launch development works during his visit to Unguturu mandal, the officials said.
Mr. Pratap Shiva Kishore said tight security has been arranged as the Chief Minister may visit the houses of some pensioners in the village.
Bomb disposal squad, rope parties, culvert inspection teams and other units have been deployed to secure the venue and the village, the SP said.
