Top EC officials review status of SIR in central districts

A team of senior officials from the Election Commission reviewed the status of ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Tiruchi and its neighbouring districts here on Friday.

The team, including Bhanu Prakash Yeturu, Deputy Election Commissioner, K.K. Tiwari, Director, Election Commission, and Archana Patnaik, Chief Electoral Officer, Tamil Nadu, conducted the review with district election officers and electoral registration officers from Tiruchi, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Karur, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, and Namakkal districts, according to an official release.
