The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Sunday (November 9, 2025) arrested three suspects from Ahmedabad while supplying weapons, for allegedly conspiring to plan terrorist attacks across the country. According to the Gujarat ATS, all three suspects had been on their radar for the past year.

Mother, lesbian partner arrested for killing five-month-old infant in Tamil Nadu’s Krishnagiri

A 26-year-old woman and her lesbian partner were arrested in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu on Saturday (November 8, 2025) for allegedly killing her five-month-old infant. The key accused, S. Bharathi (26), a resident of Chinnati near Kelamangalam, has two daughters and gave birth to a baby boy five months ago. On November 4, she breastfed the baby and the infant died within a few minutes. The body was buried in their agricultural land.

Using the VELC payload onboard India’s first dedicated space based solar mission, Aditya-L1, scientists at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) along with NASA have collaborated to estimate the crucial parameters of a coronal mass ejection (CME), very close to its lift-off from the Sun. Scientists associated with the project said that these are the very first spectroscopic observations of a CME in the visible wavelength range.
