Traffic curbs for President’s visit

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued an advisory about intermittent traffic stops in Secunderabad, Trimulgherry and Begumpet, for President Droupadi Murmu’s visit on November 21 and 22.

Movements to Rashtrapati Nilayam and Raj Bhavan are expected to cause delays at several key junctions, with short stoppages and diversions.

On November 21, restrictions will be enforced at various intervals between 1100 hours and 1845 hours across the corridor covering CTO, Rasoolpura, PNT Junction, Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet Flyover, Greenlands, Panjagutta Junction, Monappa Junction, Yashoda Hospital, Katriya Hotel, Raj Bhavan, Metro Residency and VV Statue. The return movement covers the same network, extending further towards Tivoli, NCC, Club-in-gate, Airtel Junction, Karkhana, RTA Trimulgherry, Trimulgherry X Road, Holy Family, Lal Bazar, MCEME, Lothukunta, Satya Petrol Pump, Alwal T Junction, AOC Centre and Bison Signal.

On November 22, between 0830 hours and 0930 hours, traffic will be regulated along the Raj Bhavan to Begumpet corridor, covering the same core junctions.

Citizens have been advised to plan their travel in advance and expect need-based controls during the specified timings. Contact Hyderabad Traffic Police helpline on 9010203626, for travel updates.
