Training held for 3,718 BLOs on voter data upload for SIR

Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and booth supervisors on Wednesday received training for uploading voter enumeration data through the Election Commission’s (EC) mobile application (BLO App). The initiative is part of the EC’s special intensive revision of electoral rolls, which was launched on October 27 across nine States and three Union Territories, the release said. The sessions included video demonstrations explaining the process for accurate input of data and timely completion of the exercise, according to a press release. In Chennai district, 3,718 BLOs have been deployed across 16 Assembly constituencies to distribute enumeration forms door to door. Training for field-level officers was earlier held from October 28 to November 3, the release added.
