The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Tuesday launched the first batch of its ambitious ‘Train the trainees’ initiative, aimed at transforming Srivari Sevaks into professionally trained ambassadors of Hindu Sanatana Dharma and enhancing standards of religious management.
Addressing the inaugural session at Seva Sadan-2, TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary said the programme was designed to mould the sevaks into disciplined, skilled and spiritually enlightened torchbearers of the Hindu Dharma. “The curriculum has been crafted by the AP Planning Department in collaboration with IIM-Ahmedabad, ensuring high-calibre training,” Mr. Chowdary said.
The modules include personality development, communication skills, leadership, devotee interaction, behavioural refinement, along with an introduction to TTD history, Srivari Seva significance, and mythological narratives. Subject experts from diversified fields would be engaged to deliver the sessions.
The trained participants would, in turn, train the sevaks in their respective regions before they report for duty in Tirumala and Tirupati, he said, and urged the trainees to absorb the essence of the programme and strengthen the sevak ecosystem.
