Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay said the special meeting of party’s general council meeting would be held on November 5 in Mamallapuram, to decide future course of action.
His announcement came after the 28-member executive committee met on Wednesday (October 29, 2025) to discuss the party functioning. Vijay’s announcement also comes a month after 41 persons died during a stampede at TVK rally in Karur.
“After a meaningful, deep silence in our political journey, this is a letter to invite you and interact with you,” he said in a letter to party cadre. “It is time to break all devious tactics put forth by enemies,” Mr. Vijay said.
