The Gajuwaka police arrested two persons on Sunday in connection to a murder that occurred at Autonagar on October 13.
The arrested were identified as Indrapal alias Indra Singh Rajput (27), a lorry driver and Rati Nayak (25), a lorry cleaner.
As per the police, the accused Indrapal and Nayak, who were under the influence of alcohol allegedly killed lorry driver Miraj Hussain from Chhattisgarh on October 13 for his money. After eliminating him, the duo absconded from the city with ₹7,000 cash and mobile phone, belonging to the victim.
On October 14, the police found the body at Autonagar and registered a suspicious death case. A special team was formed and they arrested the accused.
