Namakkal District Collector Durgamoorthi on Thursday (November 20, 2025) said that a two-day special camps will be conducted at all polling booths in the district to receive Special Intensive Revision (SIR) forms.
In a release, Ms. Durgamoorthi said that the distribution of the forms under SIR is ongoing in the district and to receive the forms from voters, special camps will be conducted on November 22 and 23 at all polling booths in the district from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteers and panchayat secretaries are appointed to help the voters in filling out the forms and to hand them over to the booth-level officers (BLOs). The voter list of 2002 will be available at all polling booths for verification purposes. Every voter should utilise this opportunity and submit the filled forms to the concerned BLOs and ensure their names are in the voter list, Ms. Durgamoorthi added.

Speaking to the reporters, the Collector said that to help the voters, help desks were established at Salem Collectorate, Salem Corporation office, four zonal offices in the corporation, ward offices, all Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs), all Tahsildar offices, all block development offices, all town panchayats, municipalities, village panchayats, revenue inspectors’ offices, all village administrative officers’ offices, and all agricultural offices.
