Two people died after a driver lost control over his car and it overturned and fell into the Bhadra canal in Davangere district.
The driver lost control over the car and drove into the canal near Sulekere in Channagiri taluk in the early hours of Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Siddesh and Mallikarjun, both natives of Davangere.
There were six people in the car. And, four of them were rescued.
They were all returning from a Koragajja temple near Mangaluru, the police said.
A case has been registered.
