Two farmers, Sudhakar and Manikandan, on Thursday were arrested on charges of dumping the bodies of two persons from Thombakulam after they were electrocuted to death due to illegal electric fencing, on October 31.
The police said that post-mortem conducted on the decomposed bodies of V. Ravikumar and A. Suresh Kumar, confirmed that their death was due to electrocution.
Meanwhile, relatives of the deceased staged a protest at Virudhunagar Collectorate demanding Government jobs to the kin of the deceased and ₹25 lakh compensation to their families.
However, after officials pacified them, they dispersed.
