Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Monday inaugurated a government hospital constructed in Saidapet in Chennai at a cost of ₹28 crore.

In another event, Mr. Udhayanidhi launched various development activities, including the desilting of Virugambakkam canal in Chennai. The development activities were being taken up at a cost of ₹30 crore.

Ministers K.N. Nehru and Ma. Subramanian, Chennai Mayor R. Priya, legislators M.K. Mohan, Thayagam Kavi, S. Aravind Ramesh, K. Ganapathy, and A.M.V. Prabhakara Raja and senior officials were also present.
