The Union Bank of India (UBI) celebrated its 107th foundation day in Guntur on Tuesday. MLC Alapati Rajendra Prasad participated in the event and appreciated the vital role played by UBI in national economic development.

K. Pramod Kumar Reddy, Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank, commended the Bank’s efforts in supporting rural credit and financial inclusion. The event was presided over by S. Jawahar, Regional Head, Union Bank of India, who highlighted the Bank’s 107-year journey of trust, service, and progress, and reiterated the Bank’s commitment to offer more innovative and customer-friendly banking solutions. 

On this occasion, employees who rendered distinguished service were felicitated. Later, cultural performances by staff members and their children added colour and liveliness to the celebrations. The event witnessed participation from bank officials, staff members, customers, and other dignitaries.
