The U.K.-based University of Liverpool, which had in May announced establishing its first foreign campus in Bengaluru, has revealed the location. The university would operate from Alembic City near Whitefield.

The university has said that admissions for the 2026 academic year are open. Interested candidates can visit https://www.bengaluru.liverpool.ac.uk/ for details.

For the first batch, the university will offer under-graduate programmes in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Biomedical Sciences, and in ‘a first for U.K. campuses in India’ Game Design.

“The Bengaluru campus will bring Liverpool’s world-class academic and research excellence to India, offering UK-accredited degree programmes that unite global quality with Indian relevance,” according to the university.

“The new campus will strengthen India-UK collaboration through research that drives innovation in sustainability, digital transformation, and health sciences. The campus will provide a state-of-the-art, 360-degree new learning environment for the first cohort of students in Bengaluru.”

Lucy Everest, Chief Operating Officer at the University of Liverpool, said, “We are looking forward to welcoming our inaugural cohort of talented students in 2026.”
