Vigilance Awareness Week concludes at NLCIL

The valedictory function of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 of NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) was held at Neyveli recently.

Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, chairman-cum-managing director of NLCIL, said the company had strategized a framework for contributing to “Viksit Bharat” including tripling the present power generation capacity, increasing renewable energy capacity 7 times in the next three years and poised for a CAPEX expenditure of 2.5 lakh crore.

The focus must be on vigilance to ensure transparency and accountability in all its activities, he said. Mr. Motupalli said that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) would be framed for all activities and appreciated the Vigilance department for emphasis on preventive vigilance to achieve targets.

The CMD also released “Neyveli Vigil”, a newsletter of NLCIL and a short video encompassing all activities undertaken during the campaign.

Appakannu Govindarajan, Chief Vigilance Officer, NLCIL Directors Suresh Chandra Soman, M. Venkatachalam, Prasanna Kumar Acharya were present.
