Vizag boy excels in cricket, earns national spot

P. Chaitanya Karthikeya, a Class IX student from Little Angels School, has been excelling in cricket at both State and national levels. Chaitanya, a left-handed batsman and wicketkeeper, represented CBSE South Zone–1 and played a key role in securing the gold medal. His performance earned him a place in the South Zone Titans, and went on to win the CBSE National Winner Trophy at the 1st CBSE T20 National U-17 Championship held in Noida in October 2025. He is the only player from Andhra Pradesh chosen for the CBSE U-17 South Zone–1 Team. At present, he is playing matches for the Visakhapatnam District U-14 Team. Chaitanya has now been selected for the 69th National School Games – Cricket U-17 Boys Championship 2025–26. The school management and staff congratulated him on the occasion.
