Water level in Mullaperiyar dam was 137.95 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 1,975 cusecs and a discharge of 1,822 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 69.19 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 2,040 cusecs and a discharge of 2,849 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 10,094.16 mcft.
