To mark World Diabetes Day on November 14, Kauvery Hospital, in collaboration with The Hindu, is presenting a Wellness Series webinar on ‘Diabetes Reversal: Is it Possible?’ at 11.30 a.m. on November 13.
The webinar aims at creating awareness on diabetes management and to explore whether remission is achievable through medical intervention, lifestyle changes, and early detection. Participants will gain insights into treatment approaches, practical self-care tips, and the science behind diabetes progression.
K. Baraneedharan, senior consultant-diabetologist, Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai, will speak on ‘Technology and Medical Management of Diabetes’, and P. Gowri, senior consultant-diabetologist, Kauvery Hospital, Cantonment, Tiruchi, will deliver a talk on ‘Lifestyle and Intervention for Diabetes Remission’. Rameez Raja B., consultant-endocrinologist, Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road, Chennai, will share insights on ‘Physiology and Pathology of Diabetes’. Soma Basu, journalist, will moderate the webinar.
