The Munneerpallam police have arrested a woman for allegedly selling ganja and seized ₹2,000 worth of ganja from her.
Police said a woman, who was moving around in suspicious manner near Berthal Nagar near Aaraikkulam, was picked-up by the police patrol team on Friday. After she gave contradictory reply to the police, the police checked her with the help of women police who seized 80 grams ganja worth ₹2,000 from her.
During interrogation, the police identified her as E. Ramya, 21, of Berthal Nagar.
She was arrested later.
