A woman died after getting caught in a crop-processing machine in Mudadga village of Aland taluk in Kalaburagi district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Gangamma Sudhakar Hagaragi, 40, a resident of Mudadga village.
According to police, the incident occurred when she was feeding soya beans into the machine. The end of her saree reportedly got entangled in the processing machinery, pulling her into the machine and killing her on the spot.
Following the incident, her husband Sudhakar has lodged a complaint at Narona Police Station.
