The YSR Congress party (YSRCP) organised a rally protesting against the alleged privatisation of government medical colleges by the TDP-led Alliance government in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
The rally, led by district party president K.K. Raju, witnessed a large number of leaders and workers participate. Local artistes dressed in colourful Rajasthani attire, and camels were the highlight of the rally, which began from Gurudwara junction and concluded at the tahsildar’s office at Seethammadhara. A memorandum was submitted to the tahsildar.
MLC P. Ravindra Babu, YSRCP Parliamentary constituency observer K. Babu Rao, State secretary Rongali Jagannadham, Deputy Mayor Katamuri Satish, CEC Member Banala Srinivasa Rao, corporators and other leaders participated. .
