As many as 10,061 seats have been allotted in the first phase of counselling for admissions to B Pharmacy, Pharm D, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Bio Medical Engineering and Bio-Technology courses under TG-EAPCET (Bi.P.C) 2026-27.
According to the admission data released on Monday, 15,613 candidates exercised their options, entering a total of 3,82,421 choices during the web-based counselling process. Of the 10,612 seats available across the courses, 10,061 were allotted, leaving 551 seats vacant after the first phase. The overall seat allotment stood at 95%.
B.Pharmacy accounted for the largest share of the seats. Of the 8,658 seats available across 124 institutions, 8,131 were allotted. All 59 seats in the government institution and all 377 university seats were filled while 7,695 of the 8,222 seats in private institutions were allotted.
For Pharm D, 1,615 of the 1,634 seats available across 73 private institutions were allotted, leaving 19 vacant seats. The allotment rate for the course was 99%.
All 50 available seats in Bio Medical Engineering were allotted. In Pharmaceutical Engineering, 88 of the 93 seats were allotted, leaving five vacant. Bio-Technology recorded a full allotment, with all 177 seats across five institutions being filled. As many as 441 candidates secured seats under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota.
Candidates allotted seats in the first phase have to pay the tuition fee and complete self-reporting online by September 24. Physical reporting at the allotted colleges will be held from September 30 to October 1. Candidates who fail to pay the fee or complete self-reporting by the deadline will have their provisional allotment automatically cancelled, said a note.
