Bengaluru will be hosting the 13th edition of the Wipro Bengaluru Marathon on Sunday (September 27). The event is being organised by NEB Sports, in association with the Karnataka Athletics Association, Wipro Limited, and Shriram Properties.
The full marathon will be flagged off by Ranjita Ghosh, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Wipro Limited, from Sree Kanteerava Stadium. The half marathon will be flagged off by actor and fitness celebrity Mandira Bedi. The event will also include 10K and 5K categories, and people from all age groups can participate.
Seemanth Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Police, N.A. Harris, Congress MLA and BDA Chairman, and Tejasvi Surya, Member of Parliament, will flag off the 10K run. Minister for Tourism and Energy K.J. George will be present at the event.

The full marathon will be flagged off at 3.50 a.m., followed by the half marathon at 6 a.m., the 10K at 7.30 a.m., and the 5K at 8.15 a.m. The event will also feature a special flag-off for people with disabilities and visually impaired participants, scheduled at 8.20 am.
More than 45,000 runners including 25 elite runners from across the country will take part in the marathon.
