196 SCTPCs from Chittoor to receive appointment orders from CM Naidu on December 16

Ahead of the training session for State Civil and Technical Police Constables (SCTPCs), Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi on Monday (December 15, 2025) addressed 196 candidates selected from Chittoor district, who will receive their appointment orders in Vijayawada on Tuesday (December 16).

The SP said that the orders would be formally handed over at the A.P. 6th Battalion in Vijayawada by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha. Interacting with the candidates at the District Police Training Centre here, the SP offered them guidance and motivation.

Tushar Dudi said their selection was the result of sustained hard work, discipline, and perseverance through written examinations and physical tests. He described constables as the backbone of the Police Department and said that the law and order system at the grassroots level depended largely on their field-level efforts. Road safety, crime control, and addressing public grievances were areas where the role of constables was crucial, the SP observed.

The SP informed the candidates that joining the police force was a matter of pride and responsibility, and that their conduct, discipline, and behaviour would reflect the image of the department. He urged them to uphold integrity and public trust during training and future service.

“All logistical arrangements are being made for the candidates for their travel to Vijayawada, including buses and designated in-charges,” the SP said, adding that the candidates must maintain discipline as part of a group programme.

Later, the SP flagged off the buses carrying the candidates to Vijayawada. Senior police officers were present.
