Virudhunagar district police on Friday (October 2, 2026) seized 1,964 IMFL bottles hoarded at different places during special raids conducted on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.
A statement said 52 persons were arrested in 49 cases of illegal hoarding of IMFL bottles were registered as Tasmac shops remained closed on the dry day.
