Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will launch the Cochin International Airport Limited’s (CIAL) Aero Park on February 9. The 36-acre facility is being developed as an integrated ecosystem housing aviation-related organisations, aircraft hangars, aircraft parking facilities, specialised aviation training centres, and advanced technical support units. On the inauguration day, six projects valued at ₹101 crore will be commissioned under Phase I of the Aero Park, CIAL said in a release.
“The first phase comprises the CIASL Business Centre, a premium co-working space; technical services facility; and Aviation Breathing Apparatus Training Gallery,” said CIAL Managing Director S. Suhas.
The CIASL Business Centre has been developed at a cost of ₹30 crore. Spanning 40,000 sq ft, the centre has the capacity to accommodate over 400 professionals at a time and provide workspace for approximately 30 companies.
