The third ‘Porunai Literary Festival’ for celebrating Tamil literature will be held here on Thursday and Friday (February 12 and 13).
According to District Collector A.K. Kamal Kishore, literary festivals are being conducted at five places of Tamil Nadu since 2024 – 2025 for celebrating the rich literatures of Tamil. After organising the ‘Pournai Literary Festival’ in Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi, the third event of this series is organised at I.C. Prominent and award-winning writers from southern Tamil Nadu will participate in this two-day event to interact with the participants. Young writers are being encouraged by giving them due space to showcase their writing skills,” Mr. Kamal Kishore said.
