Pommala Sunil Kumar, Commissioner of the Bengaluru North City Corporation, on Thursday (March 12, 2026) directed the traffic police to begin towing operations within their jurisdiction, though the move is likely to face delays.

Mr. Kumar said that towing could begin on Monday (March 16, 2026) as the vehicles had been procured. However, according to traffic police sources, some administrative work is still pending, which may take about a week.
