Former Minister K.C. Karuppannan on Thursday said that the AIADMK alliance will win more than 200 seats.
Functionaries and cadres from various parties in the Erode district, led by former minister K.C. Karuppannan, met AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami at his residence on Thursday and joined the party. Likewise, members of Tamilaga Vivasayigal Sangam met Mr. Palaniswami and extended their support to AIADMK.
Later speaking to reporters, he said the DMK did not fulfil its election promises. So in the upcoming election, the AIADMK alliance will win more than 200 seats. Not only in the Kongu region but across the State, the AIADMK alliance will register a massive victory. AIADMK will fulfil all its poll promises, he said.
Industrialists are unable to run their businesses in Tamil Nadu and drug culture increased in the State. Each day, 10 times power cuts are allegedly reported. So, farmers are unable to do farming activities. AIADMK brought the Athikadavu-Avinashi project and only 10% of the remaining works of the project took place in the DMK regime for three years. Now, DMK promised to give ₹8,000 coupon to the people. But for this, ₹2,000 will be allegedly received as commission, Mr. Karuppannan added.
Pattali Makkal Katchi candidates of Salem North, S. Sadhasivam and Salem West, M. Karthi, met Mr. Palaniswami at his residence in Nedunchalai Nagar. Later, the two candidates told the reporters that PMK will win in two constituencies and Mr. Palaniswami will become the Chief Minister.
