Christians increasingly under attack in Odisha, claim activists

People’s Tribunal, a forum of activists and intellectuals, on Tuesday (May 5, 2026), alleged that Christian communities were increasingly being targeted in Odisha.

Addressing a press conference after four days of touring different parts of the State to investigate the growing incidents of anti-Christian discrimination and violence, the members said, “The testimonies that we heard from all the people in the course of our travels in Odisha are extremely harrowing and worrying”.
