₹1,000 hike in Onam festival allowance of lottery agents, sellers

The Kerala government has announced a ₹1,000 increase in the festival allowance for lottery agents and sellers for Onam. The government has sanctioned ₹8,500 as festival allowance for members of the welfare fund board for lottery agents and sellers and ₹3,750 for pensioners. The government has sanctioned ₹26.47 crore towards this expense. The decision will benefit 26,980 members of the welfare fund board and 9,345 pensioners.
