Man brings snake which bit him to Tambaram Government hospital

A 36-year-old person caused panic at the Tambaram Government hospital after he brought a live snake which bit him on Wednesday. 

A police official of the Tambaram Police Commissionerate said Maiyur Sadiq was a resident of Gerugambakkam near Kundrathur. On Wednesday morning, Sadiq’s hand was bitten by a small snake, which had been hiding beneath a wooden plank in his house. After calling the ambulance, the victim also captured the snake, put it in a plastic container, and brought it to the Tambaram Government Hospital. 

However, after examination, the doctors said that it was a non-venomous water snake.
