Girls’ hostel inaugurated at Pondicherry University’s Karaikal campus

The Pondicherry University was committed towards making its new campus at Karaikal a centre of excellence, Vice-Chancellor of the University P. Prakash Babu has said.

The University in a release said the Vice-Chancellor inaugurated the new girls hostel at the Karaikal campus. Speaking at a function, the V-C said, “All efforts would be made for the continued development and advancement of the campus. The residential needs will be met in the days to come.”

The hostel named after political activist and poet Sarojini Naidu would be a major milestone in the development of the campus, the release said.
