Partially decomposed body of a woman found

A partially decomposed body of a woman was found beneath a bridge situated on an isolated road near a blue metal crusher at Karattampatti village in Tiruchi district on Thursday evening.  The face of the deceased woman could not be recognised and her identity was yet to be established. 

The Pulivalam police personnel and scientific officers conducted an inquiry at the spot. The body was sent to the Government Hospital, Thuraiyur, for autopsy. Investigation is under way, said the police.
