The Badangi police of Vizianagaram district arrested three persons and took a juvenile into custody, allegedly for involvement in 13 motorcycle thefts, and recovered 12 stolen two-wheelers.
The Badangi police led by Sub Inspector P. Surya Kumar during vehicle checking on Thursday (September 24) caught K. Anil alias David (23) of Salur mandal, and took a juvenile into custody, for committing a bike theft.
Following instructions from Bobbili Rural Circle Inspector R. Mallikarjuna Rao, the police further investigated and found that two persons, with the help of six more, had stolen 13 motorcycles in the Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts. Subsequently, two receivers were also arrested. Further investigation is on.
