Woman kills husband with axe after argument in Alwal

A woman killed her husband by attacking him with an axe following an argument over a personal matter at Macha Bolarum in Alwal on Sunday night.

The incident occurred at Peddi Parmareddy Colony. The deceased was identified as Srinivas, while the accused was identified as his wife, Ramadevi.

According to police, the couple had a disagreement over a personal matter, following which Ramadevi allegedly picked up an axe and attacked Srinivas. He suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. Alwal police reached the spot following the incident and began an investigation. Police are questioning people connected with the family to establish the circumstances that led to the killing and reconstruct the exact sequence of events.
