Special efforts being made for development of villages, says Nandyal MP

Nandyal MP and TDP Lok Sabha Deputy Floor Leader Byreddy Shabari on Tuesday (September 29, 2026) said that the government is making special efforts for the development of villages. Ms. Shabari inaugurated several development works in Tarigopula village of Jupadu Bungalow mandal and in M. Lingapuram village in Kothapalli mandal, both falling under the Nandikotkur constituency.

In Tarigopula village, she inaugurated two cement roads and two retaining walls that had been completed at a cost of ₹20 lakh. She assured the villagers that a mineral water plant and additional cement roads would also be sanctioned for Tarigopula.

She inaugurated a mineral water plant constructed at a cost of ₹5 lakh from her MP funds in M. Lingapuram village. Speaking on the occasion, the MP stated that efforts are being made to provide clean drinking water in the villages. She assured village elders that she would strive to secure funds through the Common Good Fund for the development of the ancient Tandava Malleswara Swamy temple in the mandal headquarters village of Kothapalli, and pledged full support for the temple’s renovation works in collaboration with Endowments Department officials.
