Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Wednesday stood at 116.40 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 820 cusecs and a discharge of 400 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 43.14 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 106 cusecs and a discharge of 126 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 2,959.59 mcft.
