MIA handles highest single-day traffic of 8,923 passengers on November 30

Mangaluru International Airport handled the highest ever single-day traffic of 8,923 passengers on Sunday.

It was the highest single-day traffic since the airport’s Commercial Operation Date (COD) of October 31, 2020, the airport posted on Instagram.

The airport handled 52 air traffic movements (ATMs) on Sunday.

Of the total passengers handled, 6,027 were domestic and 2,896 international.

Of 4,383 passengers who arrived included 2,922 domestic and 1,461 international. In all, 4,540 passengers departed from the airport on that day, including 3,105 domestic and 1,435 international.

“Growing, evolving, and reaching new heights. A milestone day for IXE (Mangaluru),” the airport posted. “A proud moment that highlights our continued growth and strong performance,” the airport said.
