Five nodal centres in Telangana will host the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon 2025, the flagship innovation event organised by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), on December 8 and 9.
The event, considered the country’s largest open-innovation model, brings the brightest young innovators from institutions across the country to solve real-world challenges through student-driven technological solutions. The event directly connects students with the government, industries and various stakeholders.
The five nodal centres are VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology and Management, Vardhaman College of Engineering, Ace Engineering College and Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College.
The event believes ‘no problem is too big and no idea is too small’, and the various themes include smart vehicles, transportation and logistics to robotics, clean and green technology, renewable energy, cybersecurity, smart education and disaster management among others.
