The application window for nursery admissions opened on Thursday with private unaided recognised schools in Delhi uploading the forms on their websites and making them available on their premises. Parents can submit applications until December 27.
According to the admission schedule notified by the Directorate of Education, the first list will be put out on January 23 and the second list on February 9. The process will conclude on March 19.
Admissions will be based on a point system, with the criteria set by schools. Most schools have awarded maximum points for distance, sibling/parent alumni status, and being a single girl child.
“Most parents prefer to fill up forms online. But some want to visit the school and see how far it is from their homes. So, offline forms are available too,” said Sudha Acharya, principal of ITL Public School in Dwarka.
