
Advance reservation for the train will open on December 7 at all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS), internet and IRCTC website.
The Railways will operate a special train between Yeswantpur and Karwar for two round trips to clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas.
A release from Konkan Railway Corporation here said the South Western Railway will operate the services in coordination with the KRCL.
Train No. 06267 Yeswantpur-Karwar Express Special will leave Yeswantpur at noon on December 24 and 27, Wednesday and Saturday, to reach Karwar at 6.10 a.m. the next day.
Train No. 06268 Karwar-Yeswantpur Express Special will leave Karwar at noon on December 25 and 28, Thursday and Sunday, to reach Yeswantpur at 4.30 a.m. the next day.
The train will halt at Chikkabanavara, Kunigal, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur, Bantwala, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapura, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road and Ankola stations.
It will have one 2-tier AC, three 3-tier AC, 12 sleeper class, three general class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches, in all 21 coaches. Advance reservation for Train No. 06268 will open on December 7 at all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS), internet and IRCTC website.
