Body of a woman washes ashore in Marina

The Anna square Police are investigating the identity of a woman whose decomposed body washed ashore in the Marina beach on Sunday. 

A senior official of the City police said a group of fishermen were engaged in repairing the nets near the Kallu Kuttai area of ​​the beach when they saw a body of a woman, without the head, being washed ashore. 

Immediately the fishermen informed the Anna Square police, who recovered the body and sent it to the Omandurar Multi speciality Hospital for postmortem. The police are enquiring about the identity of the woman.
