The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIM-V) and Sankar Foundation have been conferred national-level awards by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) at a function held in Dehradun on Monday. At the ceremony IIM-V received three awards recognising the Institute’s excellence in skill development, digital communication, and strategic use of social media.
IIM Visakhapatnam bagged first prize for Best Skill Development Programme, second prize for E-Newsletter and third prize for Best Use of Social Media in a Corporate Campaign. M. S. Subrahmanyam received the awards on behalf of the institution.
Sankar Foundation won second prize for its monthly newsletter ‘Visionary Insights’. This marks the second consecutive year that Sankar Foundation has been honoured with this recognition at the national level. Rajya Sabha Member Naresh Bansal presented the award to K. Bangar Raju, editor of the newsletter and DGM (PR & Liaison) in Dehradun.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the 47th All India Public Relations Conference at Dehradun on Saturday night (December 13).
