The Cabinet meeting held here on Wednesday has decided to lease 5 acres in Melthonnakkal village, Technocity, Technopark Phase IV campus, to the Union Home Ministry for setting up a Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in Kerala as part of the National Forensic Infrastructure Enhancement Scheme. The Chief Executive Officer of Technopark has given permission to lease the land for 90 years at a rate of ₹100 per acre per annum.
