All major churches in Vizianagaram and Parvatipuram-Manyam districts wore a festive look ahead of the Christmas celebrations on 25th December. SIIMS Baptist Church, Roman Catholic Church, Canadian Baptist Church and others in Vizianagaram witnessed lot of religious activity with special prayers, devotional concerts, and charitable activities.
Several TDP public representatives in both the districts took part in ‘mini Christmas’ celebrations. TDP MLA Bonela Vijaya Chandra organised an event for the Christian community and others in Parvatipuram on Tuesday (23 December, 2025). He hailed Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s ₹5,000 honorarium to 8,427 pastors across the State.
He said that the TDP government had taken several steps for the welfare of Christian families while ensuring communal harmony in the State. He said that special praja darbar would be organised very soon in Parvatipuram constituency.
