A total of 555 lost mobile phones were found and restored to the owners by Madurai City Police on Wednesday.
Commissioner of Police, J. Loganathan, handed over the phones, worth ₹83.25 lakh, at the City Police Office.
Special teams and Cyber Crime Police of Madurai City have recovered a total of 1,132 lost mobile phones, worth ₹1.69 crore in 2025, the Commissioner said.
