Mangaluru Taluk Beary Sahitya Sammelana at Gurupura-Kaikamba on January 4

Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy will hold the Mangaluru Taluk Beary Sahitya Sammelana at Gurupura-Kaikamba on January 4, according to its president U.H. Umar.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday, he said that senior writer, Abdul Rahiman Kuttettur, will preside over the sammelana. Speaker U. T. Khader will inaugurate it at Megha Plaza Hall at 10.15 a.m.

Five Beary books written by Shameema Kuttar, Haseena Malnad, N. M. Haneef Nandarabettu, Basheer Ahmed and Hyder Ali Katipalla will be released at the sammelana.

The sammelanawill feature Beary Kavigosti, Duff, and Beary songs will be sung during the event.

There will be a discussion on the speech of the president of the sammelanaat noon.

A Beary drama titled ‘Broker Poker’ would be staged at the end of the sammelana at 6.30 p.m., he said.
