Andhra Pradesh’s flagship initiatives, including the proposed Green Hydrogen Valley and Space City projects and the interest being shown by various countries indicates the renewed global confidence in Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s governance, noted TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao.
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for IT and Education N. Lokesh have engaged in a series of high-level meetings and strategic agreements aimed at securing investments, industries, and employment for Andhra Pradesh at Davos, he said in a statement.
International analysts have also identified the State government’s emphasis on ‘policy guarantees’ as a key attraction for investors, reflecting transparency and predictability in administration. The Visakhapatnam–Kakinada port corridor is a vital gateway for Southeast Asian trade.
Mr. Rao described the Chief Minister’s meeting on the opening day of Davos with UAE Economy Minister Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri as a turning point in Andhra Pradesh’s economic journey.
Highlighting the role of Minister Lokesh, Mr. Rao said discussions with Spain-based EV organisations on green hydrogen and zero-emission vehicles mark a decisive step towards positioning Andhra Pradesh as a clean energy hub. He also pointed to the forthcoming foundation stone-laying ceremony in February for the ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel plant in Anakapalli district as a milestone in the State’s industrial history.
