South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava presented the Employee of the Month safety awards to 12 staff members, including station masters, loco pilots, pointsmen and keymen. The awardees comprised five employees from the Guntakal Division, three from Secunderabad and two each from the Guntur and Vijayawada divisions. At a separate programme, Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender laid the foundation stone for two infrastructure works: a ₹74.47‑crore road underbridge at Vajpayeenagar, and a ₹12.81‑crore limited-height subway near Safilguda station at Neredmet. MLA Marri Rajashekar Reddy and Divisional Railway Manager R. Gopalakrishnan were present, said a press release.
